Here at MyPR we get a monthly synopsis from Google Analytics showing our performance on Google Search.
For a number of months now the Top four highest performing press releases on MyPR have been the same you see below:

Our amateur take on the reasons why are:
- All four answer questions currently being asked by consumers around the prepaid meter rollout OR around commonly found problems in their everyday lives.
- All four have good SEO in terms of the target keywords in the title
- All four solve a problem or, via selective links, give the reader the option to find out more.
- All four were given an initial social media boost via our own and associated channels.
Our advice:
- Write articles that solve a problem
- Do your research to find out what questions people ask time and time again – peruse your company’s help desk data, comment forms, speak to support techs.
- ONLY give links to sites/resources that will further assist.
- Promote your article every now and then on social media – look for pages/groups talking about the problem that you solve.
- Add your article to your newsletter to clients.
- Write a series of articles and include links to each in the FAQ’s on your web site.
- Produce a video showing your article in action.
- Go onto forums pertinent to your industry and look to drop links to your problem solving article/s.
- Treat each article/press release like a little parcel of gold that you want to highlight and notify people about every now and then.
- Be proud of your press releases and continue to share them in as many creative ways as possible.
